Humanity Breathes

Lots of very crazy events are taking place in the world. My poems are all lyrics to rock/rap songs. As with anything there are embeded messages in this piece, blaming those responsible and you may have to read it a few times to pick up on it.

When the lights are blinding me

It’s so hard to see the truth

Though their lights of humanity

Then I know its not you

 

Look on the ground

Look in the air

Cut through the sound

Of all this despair

Look through the branches

Look through the leaves and discover humanity breathes

I got up from sittin in the corner

From being sarcastic like everybody oughta’

I’m still the same, but has anything changed much?

Well not really, can’t think of anything such as innocence

Could be evil in its purest form in a sense

Tryina make sense of these present events

That are changing us, forever shaping us

First we have nine eleven and ten twelve

Jimmah islamea then somebody else

Osama Benlarden, then the smiling assassin

Smile? Do you see anyone laughing?

You see the teers are real when the pain is felt

And the teers won’t stop when justice is delt

Because its not real justice down the track

Cause if it was it would bring the victims back

Cause if it was it would bring the victims back

 

Though the lights are blinding me

I know I’ll find the truth

And as I see them illuminate

I know its you!!!

Your strength and power in this work are tremendous. I adore the chorus section - Humanity Breathes! It seems though we face absurdity, obscurity and obstinance - there is hope shining through your lyrics. I would that I could hear music to this as well. Do you play? I should hope so.
