HE WRITESA Poem by Cassie Fragahe thinks of her...
He writes, because she is worthy to know… She helps- It drove him crazy how his casual stare caused her to shy… The reason it drove him crazy was because he was never a shy
person But the impact he felt from her caused him to do exactly that What turned him on was the simplicity in her personality That feeling of total comfort and homage he found in her
company The air was warm and the sky was silenced amid the stars… Like kids they climbed on top of the hood of his car Lazily met cuddled into each other just gazing in the dark The rise and fall melody of Puget Sound is what softly
played She smelled of honey poured over brown sugar… or was it
vanilla rain? Unknowingly their hands linked while talking, how fitting he
pledged… They traced on broken relationships, mistakes that were
made, and regrets They laughed at spontaneous moments, childhood memories, and
rivaled over football teams He spoke of his fears, his wants, his past and future plans While she spoke of her dreams, her job, her family, and
wanting to run away to distant lands… They spent hours out there… just talking… Taking in on the whole sense of enjoying each other’s
conversation They had spent sometime together before But that specific night he looked at her in a different
light His eyes really locked in her eyes He writes, because she is worthy to know… That when the role of bravery quiets and the still falls Sunnyside Beach, September 9th is what he touches on The ambiance of innocence held in that night before he left
is what he remembers It pulls him to ease against the rough and pressured
atmosphere It pulls him back to himself… She helps-
