CASTLEDA Poem by Cassie FragaMy heart beats like a one woman army placing ahead, what my mind begs to leave behind...
Casually Drifting in Conflicted Direction, she pushes on
Delivering fake smiles to those who Can’t see and Dismissing the Concerned Chatters of- “her Demeanor has Changed.” and “the Compassion in her eyes has Disappeared.” Closed-fisted and with Caution she Coasts through the Disturbed Chambers within her Contour facing the Disputes that has Defeated her mind and Congested her Chest with Charmed Devotions Captivated… she tells herself, never again… Desired Dreams are only Conceived to be Conquered by Distance and Denying’s Cherished Confidence in a Caress is only a feeling made to Diminish in Despair Chasing beliefs and fighting for a Common love when odds are against you Can’t be won Castled-
numb- Convincing only goes so far when heart Dominates over mind let go was the Demand... but letting go is the Dilemma © 2012 Cassie FragaAuthor's Note
