BLUE FLAME

BLUE FLAME

A Poem by Cassie Fraga

Blue flame-

Imitates the shape and intonation of another

Freezes

Stings

Leaving never healing irritations

Cast me

Hide me

Into the pulses of those lies

For I am nothing but your simple moment

Existing only in the appearance of your waking

A simple touch of thought

The fortress you had to burn

while re-inventing who you are

leave me be-

just go... leave

Deception...once it's gone too far it ought to burn up, with a blue flame and be gone.

Very skillful write...and the image is not too bad either.

Well done...!
