In a World of Words

In a World of Words

A Poem by Chris

If this is a game then I'm player one,

There's no player two, cuz' that'd be you.

I can see through the mask of witchcraft,

You wonder how I calculate denominations of this math.

Dispell the voice of hell on it's wide beaten path,

Then know why I can't look back upon the aftermath.

There's an answer to the question if entirety's measured,

And soft spoken smirks are never treasured.

I've been pleasured by my own greed to see my own thirst,

Water to a holy seed I've agreed upon the worst.

I know what I need to be free,

And If I think for me I could spread my wings

As wisdom sings!

Through all the sacrifices, selflessness, and pride.

This was never something that could survive

Or even happen overnight,

In a world of words...
