Knew Bob

Knew Bob

A Poem by Chris

Bob's my friend when I'm hanging solo,

The freedom in his spirit makes me want to go home,

Thankful to hear it.

Tells me to stand up for my rite,

Won't give up without a fight

And I could die tonight!

Heaven's at hand stand in awe!

So don't ask if I snatch that mask and tap ya into Jah.

Went to class today with a smile on my face,

Denial has it's place,

But I won't chase the customers away or act wild!

Swagger says it efficacious if I have style.

Cuz' life's too short learn to love much,

One tough son of a gun from tough love.

Come from the womb , the same place as you.

Undue the catachresis, you have to have Jesus,

Pieces fit! diseases come to kill quick.

Not about us but it still fits.

As hot as a skillet get's in a gorillas mist, penitrate!

Cuz' the face of hate makes me laugh,

It's bait for heaven sakes' it'll pass...

I knew Bob...
