The Scream

The Scream

A Poem by Chris

Found in friendly faiulure,

Won't boast again,

Independance jokes and says it's my closest friend.

Borrow this and ask for that,

As for possessions it's tit for tat.

Never seen a being of my own,

The angels just took him home.

order, order!

won't you stop the ride,

Lock the door and let the tide take me away.

Make no mistake about being poor,

Away with classy qoutes for evermore.

Since terror says it's sweet

Where's the beauty?

It removes it's veil to accuse you too.

It's sick from a distance, but as you move closer

It tells truth,

And expresses your inner most fears.

It cries to God tears of fine gold,

This setting willl defenitely die old.

Can you hear desperation?

What's taking so long?

What a waste of time and space

For this to go on.

Run your route while the sun does what it does,

It must be because of love

That no one get's what they want...

^^ I love that soo much!
Sometimes, in situations of love, a person will give so much that is feels like they are getting nothing in return...and therefore; the harder you love the more it feels like you just aren't getting what you want and deserve.

I love the way this poem is so random as you first read it, but then if you read it again...somehow things go together.
Great job! I really enjoyed it :~)
