Less is More

Less is More

A Poem by Infernos Wretched

Fairly common thieves have the same analytic features,
a similar horizon of darkness and black smoke pouring through
their senseless minds,
as if their next steps are to put a guard over their cold hearts,
to look for miraculous signs.

Thieves beseech towards faith and joy,
they cower their lives upon theirselves
in their own abode,
refraining from all the stories and lies
they have yet to be told.

It's as if they are frozen, being placed
in fulguration;
believing in questionable lucent limns
that their innocence lingers inside
their minds as if their minds are
a graceful, lustful nation.

Henceforth being malefic, suddenly being
reborn into a mage,
learning their enemies footsteps
gracefully, yet willingly as if they are orgulous
of their insidious sinful deeds like growling sage.

When one gets caught,
they wonder what they did wrong;
it etches in their very minds like a tenebrous
nocuous song.

In the end,
all thieves think they are so victorious
while committing their crimes,
they listen to every single twisted thought
in their murderous perfidious minds.

They ruin their lives when they make that very wrong choice,
constantly acting selfishly and crazy,
only because they don't take care of themselves,
acting carelessly and committing the act of being very heartless and hazy.

We all know right from wrong;
our minds change when we think we have less,
Not thinking we have more,
and others we can bless.

"Only by giving are you able to recieve
                                                   more than you already have."
                                                                                            ~Jim Rohn

Your message is a valid one and something people should take seriously. We're all responsible for our actions, and if those actions are intentionally evil, their lives can change for the worse.

My only critique as a first-time reader of your work would be to simplify. The big words don't make a poem better and some sentences could be shortened.

Example:

They ruin their lives when they make that very wrong choice,

Through wrong choices, they ruin their lives.

Nice writing.
