Maybe Thoughts Shouldn't Become Comments

A Poem by SLOVA

if my god is
unlike your god
and he is
whose god do you think
is better?
my god says to obey
but so does yours
but my god gives me a choice
but so does yours
my god lives inside my head
but so does yours
my god's temperament isn't agreeable
but neither is yours
my god doesn't allow me to live without him
but yours does
so I guess I don't know
but my god doesn't encourage an audience
like yours does

I guess
this idea of each one fighting for their god
when all religions on earth have striven for none judgement and for allowing people to be
Leaving judgement for only god and not people
I think you do such a great job here of depicting this picture of finger pointing and segregation and drawing lines that do not exist
if anything we should be all fighting for freedom
to love everyone freely with no labels
and no judgement
I think God would be pleased with that

This is pretty cool

A interesting poem.
"but my god doesn't encourage an audience
like yours does"
I believe faith and sexual preference should be private. People who force religion and hate for different. Need to hold silence. I liked the poetry. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
