Chapter One Overview

Chapter One

 

Elbon and Elthian, two young brothers from Sero village in Sheronia, leave Sero to go on a make believe adventure into a nearby forest. In the woods the brothers pretend to sword fight using branches and because of this Elbon trips and falls down a hidden hole in the ground. Elthian, worried, tells Elbon he will go and look for a way down. Elbon, instead of waiting, takes a look around to find a door, he opens the door to reveal a library of sorts. One book in particular, one with an eye drawn on it, catches his attention. Elbon opens the book and suddenly feels sharp pains within his eyes, he hears a voice telling him that he now has a power known as the eye of El and in time he would learn to control it. Elbon then opens his eyes to find he is no longer in the cave but back in the woods. He hears his brothers voice and follows it to discover a cloaked man (Balistat) talking to him. The man (Balistat) asks questions then discovers Elbon and asks why the brothers are in the woods. Elbon and Elthian tell the cloaked man (Balistat) that they just wanted an adventure outside of the village but things got serious when Elbon fell down a hole. Elbon is then forced to tell the man (Balistat) what happened in the hole. Elbon tells him he found a book and opened it. The man (Balistat) then tells Elbon that it was the book of El and now Elbon was destined to be Bruthonia’s next hero. Elthian is told that he would be the evil Elbon was destined to destroy. The brothers brush what the man (Balistat) says off and leaves the woods. Elbon hears the man (Balistat) whisper one last thing, “they will come for you”. the story continues six years later and Elbon wakes up in his home still in Sero village. He goes to meet with Elthian who is now a member of Sheronia’s The Silver Knights Of Nine. He arrives at Sero’s training grounds to be jokingly attacked by Elthian. After the short fight, Elthian admits he is still no match against Elbon and then the rest of the silver knights come out of hiding. The silver knights (Sylar, Orlando, Mawt, Victoria, Rose, Gustav, Freedman and Kastin) and Elbon have a conversation before Claydon Silverarrow (captain of Sheronia’s army) arrives and delivers news that king Withilldon (king of Sheronia) wishes to have a meeting with the silver knights and Elbon.
