Prologue Overview

Prologue

 

El, the hero of Bruthonia, travels through Naruthian, the greatest city in Alothrill, with his party, Alys the elf and the love of El’s life, Ryz the dwarf and Draken the wizard to finish the dark lord Scorn’s evil once and for all. The four make their way into Scorn’s castle and are surprised to find how easy it was to enter and make their way to Scorn. Scorn himself had allowed them to enter for Scorn himself knew of his coming death yet he planned to take the heroes with him to the afterlife. El and Alys confront Scorn who sends away his four masked body guards to Nythril, another dark city in Alothrill. The guards leave and El and Alys prepare for a fight. Scorn admits that he knows he will die but tells El that he and his friends are going with him. Scorn attacks Alys and El causing them to fall through the floor and continue the battle in the room below. Draken and Ryz join the battle soon after. El jumps on Scorn’s back and kills Scorn. After the group shares a few laughs they learn Scorn is not actually dead. Scorn stabs his sword through El and tosses him aside. Scorn then kills Ryz by smashing him into the floor multiple times. Scorn then kills Draken by tearing the wizard limb from limb. El watches in horror as Scorn then kills Alys by smashing his blade down upon her. El accepts death but before it can take him he is given an amazing power. He glows softly and out of his back grew the wings of an angel. El uses this power to open up a portal to an unreachable and inescapable realm, El sends Scorn into the realm and then El himself dies. Meanwhile, Scorn’s masked body guards reach Nythril and meet with an older man (Fanryu). The older man (Fanryu) knows now that Scorn was gone and took this as a sign to start on a project known as “Project Scion”.
