Whiteout

Whiteout

A Poem by Nicholas Hagenschneider

i'm assaulted by an endless array of white

and i'm not too sure on when it's time to go

the blindness clears from the blind man's sight

and my roads out are covered in snow

this cold air bites at my face

yet i push onwards

this wind howls at my disgrace

yelling out in harsh icy words

up to my knee's in this whiteout

and i'm not to sure on when it's time to go

i'm blindly seething in doubt

and my roads out are covered in snow

this cold air bites at my face

yet i push onwards

this wind howls at my disgrace

yelling out in harsh icy words
