The Creep

The Creep

A Poem by Nicholas Hagenschneider

All i want is to fall asleep
to fall into an eternal slumber
to shy away from the creep
to stay away from his number
i can smell him lurking in my dreams
stalking through my nightmares
everything's not as it seem's
so fall to my knee's to give prayer

The ground breaks beneath my feet
the fire grabs at my ankles
my body can't stand the heat
i have no gaurdian angels

All i want is to wake up
to fly into endless pleasure
yet there's a mess to clean up
so i'll take the necessary measure's
i just don't want to be awake
and i don't want to be asleep
i can't live with this mistake
to shy away from the creep

The ground breaks beneath my feet
the fire grabs at my ankles
my body can't stand the heat
i have no gaurdian angels
