Abundunt mushrooms to seek

 

Pretty spring flowers

 

Rain makes green grass

 

Ice cream days are near

 

Lying will animals soon awaken.

Very cute and refreshing. Reminiscent of a nature haiku. I'm assuming the last line is in reference to hibernating animals awaking- would that actually be around April though? Hmm, I don't really know myself :P

[Broken Branches]

Seen through the eyes of a child, beauty is enchanced and appreciated in ways adults can't see because it's all new. I guess the last line would be better with the word sleeping instead of lying.

Not bad for a fourth grader... The last line confused me, but I am not sure the word Lying is what you meant back then... This is an excellent poem thoug and a wonderful write. Very discriptive
