Her. But, him too.

Her. But, him too.

A Poem by emodemon666

Her.
Her hair.
Her eyes.
I loved it.
I knew it was right.
When it started, I was unsure.
Then, as it progressed,
the farther I walked onto the plain field that was her,
I knew.

Later. She rarely talked.
There was no contact.
She looked she never even had interest.
So,
I had to relinquish in time.
I ran.

Then, like I was hit by a demon's fist.
I understood,
she may never look at me.
But, he,
he could me be mine.
No. No he can't. You are so selfish.
I will hurt too many people.
Back off. Moron. Stop it.
My thoughts scream at me,
as I think all about him.
Only him.
The gaping hole in my chest.
Filling then, being ripped apart all over again.
There is no happy.

But, I can't help but to think that he will fix me.
That I will fix him.
That everything will turn out fine.
Every one would be happy,
and he would be mine.
Then, I wake up to my heart-crushing reality.

Love is love as long as it's consensual. Well penned, I look forward to seeing more.
