your words are like poison
as they slice into her soul
her heart is now broken
but wasn't that always your goal?

 

to break the broken girl
to shatter her dreams
those where all she had left
but she won't give up, by any means

 

she will try to win you back
she will try to be strong
she knows she messed up
and she knows that she was wrong

 

she knows that you loved her
she knows why you hurt her
you think its for the best
when really, its for the worst

don't you see her scars?

she is in pain

she thinks that you'll finally be happy

and the darkness dawns
