The trees, so tall
The ground, kissed with color
So much beauty unrecognized
From one place to another
Beauty is everything
Meaning not hard to find
The only thing that needs changed
Is the human state of mind

I like this. You are 14 ?! How brave you are to share your writing! I wish I had started much younger and not stymied my pen by being insecure. I spent way too much time wanting to be a writer and failing to write! My only suggestion would be "that needs changed" be "that needs to change" it rings a bit clearer. I have been reading your poems and am impressed with how much you are writing and developing your writing "voice".
