Caterpillar

Caterpillar

A Poem by E.J. Michalec

The darkness enveloped my skin
Sorrowful cocoon
Perhaps one day I will fly
Maybe some day I’ll see the light
As for now,
I guess a girl could dream

Good metaphor and title. I like the raw humility throughout, and the hope you convey at the end. Nice, simple piece.
