Oversharing

Oversharing

A Poem by E.J. Michalec

Post feelings on your wall?
Not unless there are three others
You’re allowed to have feelings
But don’t concern your mother
Keep it within
You’ve got to stay strong
It’s alright to feel
But sharing is wrong
Sit upright in your chair
Look pretty for the photo
Nobody wants to hurt you
Nor help you when you’re low

I liked the honest words and thoughts. Few people care for our hurt and pain. True friends are hard to be found some days. I liked how you use the language. Meaningful, true and honest. Thank you E.J. for sharing the excellent poetry.
