Honestly, what are we?

Honestly, what are we?

A Poem by E.J. Michalec

Cryptic tongues, they intertwine
I pray your heart did follow
Whether or not it's meant to be
The thought, it crashes over me
Honest words, they suffocate
I consider it a crime
Cut the bounds
Release the sound
Before I run out of time
