We're Never Gonna Survive, Unless We Go A Little Crazy

We're Never Gonna Survive, Unless We Go A Little Crazy

A Poem by E.J. Michalec

We’re humans, a species scrounging for every single detail

Never satisfied with simplicity

Gonna spend our lives learning how to live “better”? That’s not my philosophy

Survive; love each other, no need for luxury

Unless there’s love, life isn’t worth it to me

We spend our time on schemes and plots

Go the extra mile to drown others in misery

A part of this earth that should be fixed, before life even begins to make sense to me

Little love, lots of luxury? When luxury is nothing without the love that lies beneath

Crazy how no one within this world of false logic seems to see
