End

End

A Poem by E.J. Michalec

Who was I kidding

Life wasn’t good

Strong desires to run away

I would if I could

Who was I kidding

I’ll never push through

I lay here at night

Wishing to rest soon

But I’ve run out of tears

To fall asleep to

The end always has a new beginning. Our years of youth can be maddening, but it gets better with age. Well done, Ms. Emily:)
