Traffic Light

Roads follow significant signs

To keep the traffic stable and fine

To assure that individuals are safe to cross

Preclude to damage or any loss

 

 Life is like a traffic light

We must obey the colors to keep us on track

To give us warnings whether we stop or go

And ride to our path with an easy flow

 

Stop if we see the light that is red

After a hardworking day we have to rest on our bed

By giving us the chance to prepare for a while

Before going again to another mile

 

 The red sign could be an important reminder

For us to cease our bad activities

The unneeded things that we have to surrender

To keep us away from any danger

 

Yellow is the sign that commands us to hustle

To move in a hurry before caught by a whistle

We need to act faster and travel like the light

To move like a hero with all our might

 

Yes it could also be our admonisher

That tells us to continue while we can still do

The things that we consider as difficult but true

And finish the mission by facing the clew

 

Now it’s the sign that tells us to go

Yes it’s the green light that all of us know

By this we are allowed to drive freely

But cuing us to drive wise and safely

 

It tells us to go and pursue our dreams

Following the directions guided by the beams

Directs us to the journey to the plans of our lives

And fulfill every moment for us to survive

 

We need to understand every plan that we make

Because it’s not so easy to correct a mistake

We should follow the rules and obey it right

Because our life is like a traffic light
