Customarily BlindedA Poem by emmanA poem of traditionCogitating the will for something to write When suddenly strangers played music to jive, Connection to the passed celebration of the feast And showing the scapegoat of an empty venter.
A stranger have asked if they could partake While others continued to speed up the pace, A decision was made to give some currency Accepted by the hand with a hard longing stand.
“Today is the feast and we have to partake” “Inside your household anything we could take”, “Because the custom is here we cannot defy” “Give us the bread, butter, and wine”.
Dazed by the line of the athirst stranger Where respect can’t be found in the mouth of a fool, Refused to let them enter the pillars By the owner’s restriction it was madly done.
Invaded by questions hard to understand Traditions are made according to the law, Followed by people with the same comprehension But unknown to the facts of greater apprehension.
“Do not bring here your own tradition” “If you can’t even ask the beliefs we lean on”, “Don’t just speak if you don’t know the words” “It can directly point to that you are a fool”
Associates attested that the manner was wrong Of why such a man degraded the strangers, Just following the order of one basic rule Don’t you ever talk to obscure strangers.
Following a norm that was nourished since the past Could not be the reason to forget how to ask, If people believe on the same tradition Some are blinded by the vintage custom.
