DaresayA Poem by emmanA poem of waitingThy eyes are spotlights that rivet the heart
Bid the lighthouse to steer the bark Of a lad whose venture is to paint the art And embark to the palm of the loveliest mark Influx of fate is such irregular Answers are questions on metamorphic slate Though minds are near but the hearts are far For the words are warm but yet to await Utters the lyric as the gate of heaven But words aren't enough to make it even Songs are flying with the breeze unseen And poems are just specks of a fraudulent grin As breathing continues to save the baffle And endure the abominable strain of each day Tears are falling while facing the battle Of love, waiting, and bogus daresay © 2013 emmanAuthor's Note
