The TicketsA Poem by emmanThe Tickets An ally once called an adjuvant friend To spoke with courage and dedication His eyes as stars seeing without end Talked with love and determination
Revealed the enticement of his great plan To conquer the greatest fear of man With love so strong as shouts of a clan Wanted to take the hand of a woman
The friend assured reinforcement Not to leave his ally in a single moment By words, actions, intelligence, and endowment The ally became happy without any lament
The friend and the woman had a conversation To made her understand the situation That his ally to her with dedication Convinced her to accept the sweet revelation
But as the conversation became too long The friend and the woman mysteriously stared At each other they knew a feeling so strong Both were caught to the words being shared
The friend lost his mind And forgot his ally Being so kind Was it only a lie?
He dreamed of his ally crying in the sand While holding the sand with pain on his hand He woke up with tears falling as he cried Thought of the friendship was at stake when he lied
So he changed the course of his destination Helped back his ally with appropriation To be trustworthy was his only vision And continue with his ally’s sweet mission
He bought two tickets of a known ball game As payment of his rudeness that was to create shame Gave it to his ally as a gift to the dame So he had something good to proclaim
Friendship should be true without prevarication That a thing must be done in good intention Preserving the kinship would be so easy If truth showers the days of reality
