Amiss

Amiss

Engrossed the words of brilliance

Fulfilled the world of academe

But without the right tolerance

They’ve lived in a world so dim

He ruled the world of science

She topped the age of language

He couldn’t reflect guidance

She suffered in moral damage

They still exist nowadays

With torch above the skin

With superficial arrays

Hard lies as shin

So witty

Unruly

Believability

Is in ambiguity

The war is near

Hope is too far

A drop of tear

Of a dying tar

So I speak in clarity

To straighten the amiss

The vox populi

Is to freedom’s kiss
