FearA Poem by Emma Marie TaylorSometimes the scariest thing in this world is your own mind
I'm afraid of the high limbs that hang from the trees
I'm afraid of the grass and the wind and the honey bees I'm afraid of the lies that friends seem to say I'm afraid of the life that I lead everyday I'm afraid of my brother, my mother, my father I'm afraid of the darkness I'm afraid of the light I'm afraid of this life never turning out right I'm afraid of loving I'm afraid of laughing I'm afraid of trusting I'm afraid of what others will see I'm afraid of being afraid But most of all I'm afraid...
