It's Not Definite Yet

It's Not Definite Yet

A Poem by Emma Marie Taylor

It's Not Definite Yet
Those secret smiles
Take me for miles
Sideways glances
We both miss the chances

It's not definite yet
It's not positive yet
But those green speckled eyes
That smile where all honesty lies
I smile, you blush, I laugh, you gush
We never speak
   Because
You're the star
And I'm the geek
It's not definite yet
It's not positive yet
I try so hard just to pretend
But my heart's lock can't defend
Is this real, is this real?
I can't understand what I feel
It's not definite yet
It's not positive yet
But I'm hoping you're the love I get
