Glass

Glass

A Poem by Emma Marie Taylor

Glass

Rhythmic words of a broken face
Empty syllables of a hopeless chase
Broken, tattered, jagged, shattered
Sharp and bleeding
Reality sleeping
Love is blurring
Revenge reoccurring
Empty
Blue
Cracking
True
Words and letters never pass
Broken
Shattered
Jagged

 Glass

I'm not sure why, but the image this brought to mind was a person slowly morphing into a fire of blue flames, where each flame crackles, sending blue glass shards everywhere. Very surealistic. Love the flow and form you used for this piece.

Great Ink!
