*Reflections* - new prompt for Ravin' Ink groupA Poem by emmajoygreenUKLooking back, us - the surveyed seven, swinging a tree rope across our river standing, grabbing - flying human birds daring to go back forward instead of up downward, fluttering space - two boy angels in shorts, vests and plimpsolls - (now called trainers) and similar for the five missy fair fairies whose hair was tidier, hands cleaner Reflections, gazing, thinking about times when shiney Summers were what was hoped for by parents because - the house was quieter-tidier-sighful when the children were gone all day, they happy, mucky, muddy but laughing at their faces reflected in the near clear clay river - open water swimming perfect
