the radiant

the radiant

A Poem by emmajoygreen

there is destiny
hiding in hopeful shadows
smiles kissing the moon

lips open

fate palms the faithful
dances to wind-chimed freedom
liberty waiting

door ajar

we have meandered
met the crossroads to heaven's
timpanic blues

live music

lunar moon loves pause
mediates with the oh so radiant
snores in sleep - smiling

radiant

A captivating write studded with the most beautiful nocturnal imagery in this finely penned poem, Emma. I just love the line "Smiles kissing the moon", it is ssssssoooooo beautiful, as is the whole poem, but that line speaks volumes to me. A fanciful write which I so enjoyed reading. Thank you for writing and thank you for sharing, Emma. Lovely work!

Hopeful shadows? How intriguing. Good subversion of expectations. Dancing to wind-chimed freedom is far better then when the wind stops and one switches to the march of the silently oppressed. Quite the whimsical poem Emma, I enjoyed it.
