The Moon and I

The Moon and I

A Poem by PositivePenmanship

I looked to the moon as an ally.
For in a world made up of so much matter and confusion-
One thing remained common and clear:
We both were searching for something to orbit around
The only difference? The moon discovered its obsession.

I'm still left in free fall, waiting for my Earth to pull me into its field.
