Thousand Miles

Thousand Miles

A Poem by Emma Cathryn

I'm clueless now
without you here
by my side.
The pain has grown
in and out.
It's visible,
without a doubt.
My arms are scarred.
My heart is dead.
You're so far gone,
words were said
that left me alone.
The worst thing is
I'm still alive
when all I need
is to die.
I'm alone,
so what's the use?
My thoughts have grown,
beats reduced.
I close my eyes,
put on a smile.
I just wanted to fly
a thousand miles
away.
