Already Gone

Already Gone

A Poem by Emma Cathryn

A storm ahead.
I should run,
I fight instead.
I'm sick of you
lame excuses,
everything
you've ever said
was a lie.
I know now,
you fucked around
without regrets.
Why should I
deal with this,
all of your s**t?
Don't you see,
the past is dead.
I'm already gone.
My thoughts were said.
Want me back?
No.
That's not true.
I know you will
find someone new.
You'll snap again,
I'll walk away.
Don't you get it?
Goodbye, I say.
