See, what drew me to this piece as I scrolled through your pieces was that the title was, "Ño" and then the entire poem was in another language, spanish! And because i dont speak spanish i used google translate to read it, hopefully it translated correctly.
As long as there is sun in the sky
And alcohol in my glass
Lord I beg you
Please don't f*** with me! : did google translate that correctly?
I think its a fun saying! With alcohol in our glass , and the sun is shining, i think it means that the lord should not make this a bad day when its already going so good!

Google translate isn't entirely wrong: Señor does mean "lord" and also "Lord" as in God, but it also just means "mister" or "sir" and "copa" can also mean "cup" (but mainly understood as "glass"). The inspiration of this was literally a friend of mine from Spain posting a pic to his profile of him with a glass of beer and looking at the camera with an expression that strongly implied he was happy with the situation and didn't want to be bothered. But your interpretation works very well too. I'm glad you gave this a chance anyway. Do you know any other languages besides English?

Unfortunately... English is the only language i speak, they made us learn French in school but I can't string a sentence together...

I can't think of any other country who would force schoolchildren to learn French like that. I had to take French in school too because it's the national law, but I can't carry a conversation. I can write in it, read and understand it to a point, but ask me to do an entire interview, for example, or interpret, or simply talk about stuff with French speaker, I'm unable. I'm more comfortable in Spanish (after some 20 years of learning it and figuring out the linguistic system). Still, glad you enjoyed the poem. Thanks for reading.

Ah yes I am Canadian :) and it was my pleasure to read!
El cantinero lo está sacando del bar, o lo están arrestando, o es un chiquillo insolente al que encontraron tomando, o un borracho a la vera del camino.
Muy simple pero bien logrado.
