Writing ad copy is one of the few writing activities that pays its own way.
This copy presents a product(which I do not recognize) in what appears to be the standard ad copy manner.
A great ad starts with great ad copy. Advertising, a method for selling a product or service, appears in all forms of media. Knowing how to write ad copy demonstrates how powerful words can be by capturing the attention of an audience and persuading them to do something. Advertising copywriting is a tool that persuades a targeted group that they really do need to buy something.
This ad may well target the customer
However, since I did not recognize what the ad is selling, it must not have been aimed for me. Ask yourself what kind of customer you want to attract. Once you have a firm picture of that customer, put yourself in his or her shoes.
What do they want?
What interests them?
The words used to appeal to an upscale professional can be different than a college student. To know your customer is to be able to know what words to use in writing great ad copy. Grab the interest of readers. People see hundreds of ads each day so your ad should stand out with a headline that captures their attention. This Headline:

Seems to fall short. But then, there may be many who are curious about this product.
Headlines should be brief, memorable and appeal directly to you prospect base.
Consider the medium for your ad copy. While all types of markets need attention-getting ad copy, the focus will alter with the medium that you use.
Ask yourself; is the Writerscafe story page the best place to find your potential customer base? What's going to catch the eye of the consumer? What can you show the audience?
A visual focus is lost here and you have wasted not effort on it. Read you ad aloud. Listen to how your ad sounds. Will it catch the attention of the site's readers?
With Internet advertising, the emphasis is getting a click. If one our members is interested, have you provided an opportunity for that member to 'click through'?
Ad writing is a process that begins with a copywriter putting a message on paper or a computer screen, and ends with the potential customer either clicking a link or turning the page. Here you show a URL but you do not provide a link.
You do show a number of specific benefits, but since I am not a prospect for this item I cannot determine if they are attractive.
Customers buy items or pay for services based on their needs and desires be clear and specific, "What's in it for me?"
Make certain your copy shows a definite benefit to the customer.
Differentiate your business from the competition. Write advertising copy that shows that your product or service offers something the competition doesn't. A comparison of value might have made more clear, what this product does.
Perhaps it's more personal service?
Cheaper prices? Convenience? Fun?
Tell customers what action you want them to take. Again, provide a click through for an internet ad.
It's not enough to tell them about the latest electronic gizmo, you also have to direct them to take action.
Make sure the potential customer knows how to proceed for more information or to place an order.
When you've finished writing your copy, take a breather. Let the words sit for a while and then, look at it with a fresh eye.
Often, you will find opportunities to make your advertising copy stronger when you look at it again.
As with all writing, less is more. Use fewer words, cut out the dead wood.
No one is going to take the time to read a long drawn out paragraph in an ad. Make it brief, but with strong and descriptive words.
Forget grammatically correct sentences; it's okay to use fragments as long as the message is catchy and clear.
In this case, this seems a fairly effective effort, but the venue for placement will be an important issue.
