( Extract 2) Edaline Simard's Diary of Completly and Utterly Normal?A Chapter by emilythestrangeLater
I know what your thinking . Why didn't she have a normal teenage reaction? Well, I guess the truth is I am not a normal teenager. My mum has black eyes like two drops of oil. Her silky, straight, silver hair is worn in a style like a helmet. She has a muscular build. Her skin is light- coloured. She has a high forhead. Her wardrobe is mysterious, and mostly orange and white. My dad has droopy eyes the colour of beryl. His silky, wavy, lemon- yellow hair is worn in a style like a porcupine's quill's. He is very short and has a graceful build. His skin is dark. He has small ears. His wardrobe is strange. I have slanted brown eyes like two splotches of mud. My luxurious, straight, red- hair is medium- length and worn in a dignified, utilitarian style. I have a graceful build. My skin is nut- brown. I have long- fingered hands. My wardrobe is practical, and mostly black and orange.I've lived in four different places since I was 10, which are India, Italy, Sydney and Scotland. NOT A NORMAL TEENAGER. Can't be bothered to write anymore. Will report back when I get more information on this Normolville.
Even Later
Mum and dad want to move next week. Personally, I think that's best. Better than telling everyone I'm moving and then not doing it for another three months. Well then, I'd better start packing. © 2013 emilythestrange |
