The Warrior

The Warrior

A Poem by emilythestrange

Beware the warrior,

She is mad,

She is precise,

She is a tiger,

And she will have no mercy.

Her knife shines like ice,

Her hair dark like night,

Her feet fall softly,

Her hands fall hard.

In the wind she flows,

Dancing with the leaves,

The light dappling on her skin,

She fools you.

The second verse was my favorite. I thought the 3rd verse was pretty choppy and needed work smoothing it out. Other than that I really liked it :)

You kept everything short & simple yet at the same time everything is so descriptive. I adore the second stanza the most:
"Her knife shines like ice,
Her hair dark like night,
Her feet fall softly,
Her hands fall hard."
I love it!
