Fire Of My Heart

Fire Of My Heart

A Poem by emilythestrange

I am in a rainforest tribe,
I can hunt, up in the treetops,
Or down on the ground.
I am used to the sights, the sounds, the smells.
I watch the burning, and I burn inside.
How people burn these trees,
These innocent animals,
Without a trace of guilt, I do not know
Bt I know the burning has to stop.

The worlds lungs are being destroyed by us,
The human beings.
Animals with die, tribes will fall apart .
Humans are destroying the beauty, the life,
Of the world.

I sadly watch the great tress fall,
Some still alight,
I see animals try to escape the foreboding smoke,
The burning has to stop,
And those innocent animals that are dying?
I can feel there pain.

Author's Note

emilythestrange
It's not exactly the best thing ever, but I'm going to improve it. I going to need some people to review though.
Sort of useless without you all.
