The girl who will never grow upA Poem by emilythestrangeWatching the sun rise, Fall, and set, The moon shining upon the concrete, And seeing the grass turn blue, The flowers close up, Holding hands with acorns, I will always stay the girl who will never grow up.
Buttercups taste like butter, But vanilla pods do not taste like vanilla, Lemon drops can make you cry, If you fly under the rainbow, If water is from a natural source, Then why does it have an experation date? I will always stay the girl who will never grow up.
I will not, I will not follow the path that is set, I will not live my life plan, I will not be like the girl next door, I will not walk the bridge that leads to being a grown up, I will always stay the girl who will never grow up, I will always stay the girl who will never grow up.
