Alison Wonderland- Part One

Warden Wonderland- " Fauna, I think it is almost working! "

Fauna Wonderland- " Warden, I just went into labour! "

Warden Wonderland- " Two seconds Fauna, I'm almost done! "

Fauna- " Warden! "

Warden-" Fauna, please be quiet, otherwise I might break something! "

Fauna- " Warden, either you go and get the midwife RIGHT NOW, or I am going to have to walk to her house! "

Warden- " Fauna, please! "

Fauna- " WARDEN! "

Warden- " Fine, I'll go get her! " .

( As he is moving, he knocks over a cup, which contains a swirling, multi- coloured liquid. It spills over the machine he was tampering with. Fauna, not knowing this, leanes against the machine, breathing heavily, and accidently presses the button that starts up the machine)

 

( Fauna is sitting in a bed, half sleeping, half watching her husband holding their daughter, who has slanted iron- grey eyes and hair the colour of the midnight sky. She is wrapped in a red blanket)

 

Warden- " Shes beautiful"

Fauna- " She has your eyes"

Warden- " She has your skin"

Fauna- " She has her very own hair"

( Fauna is handed a piece of paper- the birth certificate)

Fauna- " What shall we call her? "

Warden- " Alison. Alison Wonderland"

I'm on chapter ten of my book, so I'm taking a break by writing this!

Alison Wonderland....Wow what a name!!! Ya know Emily this seems right up your ally....I can't wait to read this..and its in screenplay form Excellent!!!! I'd love to know what the machine was....And I love your description of the eyes and hair...Good stuff

Thanks. Me and my friend came up with the name. We were talking about alice in wonderland, and then our favourite name popped into our heads. Alison Wonderland!
