Unlovable Me

Unlovable Me

A Poem by Emily Sutliff
"

My take on a two lined stanza sestina.

"

I didn't know how to love.

Or if I could even be loved by someone

Who wanted a person that is broken

in her heart.

Someone who wants to be loved

as long as she is still alive.

How could someone feel alive

inside when they are with someone

who is utterly still with a broken,

and shattered heart.

She just wants to be capable of being loved

while being capable to love.
