The Wind

The Wind

A Poem by Emily
"

I wrote it in high school and got an award from my local library for this poem.

"

If you want to know the truth,

ask the wind.

She knows everything

about everywhere she’s been.

If you wish to know her worst,

ask the sea

tormented by her everyday.

She passes over just as quickly.

Her anger is portrayed

towards you and me.

If you wish to know her best,

ask the sky,

her best friend.

That’s where she flies

and together they play.

Again, time passes by.

I'm fascinated by your consistent theme of anger. I've noticed that you mention it in your poems, either as the main driving force, or as a characteristic.
