Blame me.

Blame me.

A Chapter by Emily May
"

another slightly depressing very deep expression of a not so brilliant time in my life. enjoy. XD

"

Every time I see your face

I am filled with a leaping sense of joy.

Then my heart floods with a painful longing

A longing that I know may never end.

A longing that was caused by me

And me alone.

I did this to us

I did this to me

I did this to you.

I cry inside

My body weeps for you to return.

This sorrow never leaves

Sorrow that follows me wherever I go.

A sorrow that was caused by me

And me alone.

I did this to us

I did this to me

I did this to you.

I feel responsible

For everything that has happened recently.

I have tried to bury my feelings

Deep down.

Covering my dreams.

My fears.

My hopes.

I miss you.

I loved you.

I stopped.

I ran, jumped and fell.

Down.

Down.

Down.

Falling for you.

I had you

I let go of you

You let go of me.

And then you stopped

You changed.

I threw everything away

My happiness and joy.

Hoping you would care.

But you have gone.

I waited.

I wait.

I shall wait.

Forever, my love.

A really beautiful and sad poem… What I took away from this is that the person did something to ruin their relationship, but still loves the other person.

I don't usually like such short lines, but I'll make an exception for this one!

oh i've felt this
we miss the highs of our love
but when it goes wrong
we are in the ultimate lows
of realizing they are gone
but don't lose that part of you
the part of you he drew
out in you
do this without
him
and you'll know
self love
