ThoughtsA Poem by Emily R
Sometimes I would rather just be alone then here
And dance until the light shines through my eyes Bursting with magic I do not mind lonesome if it means opening new thoughts, new possibilities For everything I enjoy solitude for the way it puts things in perspective and allows me to address the world any way I please It is cold out here But I prefer the windy changing shapes to claustrophobic boxes Keeping humanity in like one big evil cage Sometimes even the grass will shift and move like lava The dust particles are living souls And life as it is thought out to be believed is changing We are all growing We are all learning And I am becoming stronger Not stronger in the egotistical, powerful, look-down on everyone sense But in a stronger to lift everybody up and teach them every ounce of knowledge I know sense And I hope, I know That many people will do the same for me and every other spirit-living thing in this world And eventually we will be strong enough To lift, fly, support, carry Join every single person up into the universal stream of life Where we will all be connected Our energies flow smoothly, intertwining as they please And one day I dream that we will all be free
