the prisoner in my skin

the prisoner in my skin

A Story by omgitse

Im a prisoner in my skin,
So long my eyes are red
Burning with salt and tears,
uneager to stop.
This itch, making me feel sorry,
for what I ever did to you,
Im sorry,
for the pain I didn't cause.
I scream with the burn,
the ever burning pain,
and no one can cure it.
A prisoner in my skin,
I like to call myself.
So help me feel free,
this prisoner trapped.

What a common feeling, something that everyone goes through in their life, something that you've captured in these lines.
