HOLMES, Sherlock

1854-1891

Mr. Sherlock Holmes, a well-known private

consulting detective, passed away tragically

on May 4th, 1891 at the age of 37. He

is survived by his elder brother Mycroft Holmes

as well as his good friend and biographer,

Dr. John Watson.

Mr. Holmes was a very intelligent man. Well

known to the police for helping in their

investigations. He was even more notorious

in the criminal realm. Very few hoped to

escape justice or the law when he was on

their trail. He was a noble adversary and

will be remembered with respect by friends

and foes alike.

A Memorial service is to be held on the 10th

of May at 11:00 pm in St. Paul’s for all who

may wish to pay their respects to the man

who will no doubt be remembered as one

of the greatest and most feared criminal

agents of our day.
