questions for the next one.
A Poem by
Emilee Grimm
simply out: questions for the next boyfriend...
What if I let my hair grow limp and dull
What if I smiled without my heart
What if my eyes lost their shimmer
What if I decided I no longer cared
What if I told you I take back every word
What if I told you I’ve lied all along
What if I told you “You never made me smile”
What if I told you we were through
Would you still love me like you do today
Would you still want me like yesterday
Would you still care if I lived or died
Would you still be there when I cried?

In a perfect world the answer to these questions would be “yes”
But in all truth, the answer is “NO”
But hay, what do I know?
Well done, good poem.

I love this...I feel like there is pain from a lost love and the questions maybe are still for that person? Regardless, it's beautiful...

test of true love eh?
i guess, these questions though hurt deeply, are the test of true love that we all need to go thru...coz if love has reasons, answers to these will make the love fly outta the window!!!
very well written!!!!
