When Love Just Isn't Enough...A Poem by Emilee Grimm
So softly does your hair brush my cheek And your whispers caress my ear But somehow I do not think There will be a way I won’t fall “Forever in my arms,” you promise. But still I think there is doubt Lying somewhere inside me Undecided and unacknowledged It’s all I need to reassure me that here I do not belong. So many nights I questioned my value And now I am aware. Because love just might not be enough To keep me from Despair. Slowly Reality wakes me from the dream I had for so long lived.
